2D Art Director Raymond Quigley from Boulder Media Animation came to the Institute of Technology Tralee and gave a presentation to our Animation students on this growing industry, the production stages of an animation film, spoke to our fourth year students on their final year projects and gave an intensive workshop to our students on 2D animation.  Raymond Quigley is an American born, Irish animator with a degree in animation from the Irish National Film School in Dublin. Raymond has worked on a number of projects including Disney XD's "Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja and Danger Mouse.

Boulder Media has become one of Ireland’s largest animation studios and has produced many great shows including Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, The Amazing World Of Gumball for Cartoon Network, El Tigre for Nickelodeon, Randy Cunningham, Ninth Grade Ninja for Disney Europe. Shows currently in production are Wander Over Yonder (S2) for Disney, Go Jetters and Danger Mouse for BBC. Their shows we have produced have garnered several awards and countless more nominations such as, BAFTAs, EMMYs, ANNIEs, IFTAs, British Animation Awards, Cartoons on the Bay and many more.
